A: Being at the meeting and voting is what PoT2 is all about. However, while we strongly encourage your attendance, if for some reason you cannot make the meeting, you may either a) send your signed check to the meeting with a friend, b) mail in a signed check with the "To" field empty before the meeting to Karen Stone, 217 Noank Rd., Mystic, CT 06355, c) drop it off/mail it in to Karen immediately afterwards with the "To" field filled in, or d) go to our donation page and donate electronically.
A: No. The person who puts his or her name in the hat must be a PoT2 member and must speak, if chosen.
A: Absolutely. You can pitch any organization you like, as long as it is a non-profit organization or worthy cause, and is locally based.
A: No. Our geographic reach is defined as the 16 towns in southeastern Connecticut: Bozrah, East Lyme (including Flanders and Niantic), Franklin, Griswold, Groton, Ledyard, Lisbon, Montville, New London, North Stonington, Norwich, Preston, Salem, Sprague, Stonington, Voluntown, Waterford, and Colchester.
